Acrylic Nail Market Set to Boom as Nail Art Trends Flourish, Experts Analysis

The acrylic nail market is set to experience a surge in demand in by 2025, driven by the growing popularity of nail art trends among millennials and Gen Z consumers, according to experts in the industry.

A recent survey conducted by market research firm, Trendy Insights, found that over 70% of women aged 18-34 are interested in acrylic nail art, with over 40% of them visiting a nail salon at least once a month for nail treatments.

Experts in the industry believe that the rise of social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, which have become virtual marketplaces for nail artists to showcase their designs, has contributed to the increasing demand for acrylic nails.

Megan The Manicurist, a well-known nail artist on Instagram, has over 1.5 million followers, and her posts featuring acrylic nail designs have a significant impact on her audience,” said Alice Lee, CEO of nail supply company Glamour Nails.

Lee added that the tide in demand for acrylic nails has also been attributed to the pandemic, which has led to more consumers focusing on self-care and pampering activities at home.

“During the pandemic, many people turned to at-home manicure and pedicure kits, and acrylic nails were a popular choice due to their durability and long-lasting wear,” Lee said.

According to the survey, the average cost for a full set of acrylic nails is $50-$80, depending on the salon and location. However, the price may vary depending on the complexity of the design.

Experts predict that the acrylic nail market will continue to grow in the coming years, with some estimating that the market could reach $10 billion by 2025.

“The acrylic nail market is on the rise, and it’s not just a trend; it’s become a lifestyle,” said Jessica Chen, a beauty industry analyst.

Chen added that the need for acrylic nails has also led to an increase in sales for nail supply companies, such as Glamour Nails, which reported a 30% increase in sales in the past year.

With the rise of nail art trends and the increasing demand for acrylic nails, experts suggest that nail salons and nail supply companies should stay ahead of the curve by offering unique designs and products to keep up with consumer needs.
